Is BharatUPI free? +
Yes, completely free. There are 0% transaction charges, no MDR, and no monthly subscription fees. You keep 100% of every payment you receive through UPI.
Do I need a UPI ID? +
Yes — a UPI ID (also called VPA, e.g. yourname@bank) linked to your bank account is required to generate a QR code. If you don't have one yet, you can create it free inside any UPI-enabled banking app. We also offer a QR maker without UPI ID option.
Which banks are supported? +
All banks that support UPI are supported — that is every major Indian bank including SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, PNB, Canara, Union Bank, and 100+ others. Both current and savings accounts work.
How long does it take for money to credit? +
UPI payments settle instantly — typically within 2–10 seconds of the customer confirming payment. There are no T+1 or T+2 settlement delays as with card payments. Money is yours immediately.
Can I get a printed QR code sticker or stand? +
